Ultrasound

Ultrasound scans take place at Badavet as an external service with Delvet Ultrasound, a team specialising in veterinary ultrasound and echocardiography that collaborates with the clinic.

What we treat

Ultrasound is a non-invasive imaging test that allows your pet’s internal organs and structures to be assessed, without surgery and, in most cases, without sedation.

At Badavet this service is provided in collaboration with Delvet Ultrasound, a veterinary team specialising in ultrasound and echocardiography who visit the clinic. Appointment requests are always handled by Badavet.

When it may be recommended

The Badavet team may recommend an ultrasound scan, among other reasons, to assess:

The abdomen, when digestive symptoms or changes need a closer look.

The heart, through echocardiography, if a murmur or other change is detected.

The progress of a pregnancy.

Specific areas flagged during an examination or an earlier test.
